When we were young, we loved the fun of traveling in our in-line skates (some of us even remember renting roller skates at the roller rink!), but didn't love toting around our regular shoes in a backpack or spending loads of times strapping ‘em on and off. Mom and dad also thought they were an expensive trend that had to keep up with our growing shoe sizes.
